I got these really cool and cheap foodie ice cube molds from the dollar store and wanted to turn them into pendants. I added the Ice Resin with orange candy sparkles and glitter.
The next day I could not for the life of me get it out of the damn mold. I blasted it with my heat gun and it finally came out!

Because of the odd shape, I decided to turn it into a zipper pull instead because it would lie oddly against the chest. The hard part? Getting the right weird angle so the cord would go through sideways as I drilled through it.

But I did it! As you can see! Every time I do something like this that I think I can't, I gain confidence and take one more step towards fearlessness.

I added some unique beads that I happened to have, tied it off and added the zipper pull.

My MEC bag is black and kind of dull but now it has foodie pizzaz and because of the colours, let's me have a touch of Halloween in my outfit which I adore.
Is it just me or is this charm pretty enough to eat?! Maybe I could make another one and turn it into a pendant, I like it that much! What do you think?

That's so cute! I love the way you're working through those fears, gaining confidence!! You're rocking it, Suzie!
Thanks Jamie! Becoming fearless and playing is the combo for me. And it is cute, isn't it?! Thanks so much!
What a super, genius way to use your orange slices. I love orange as well, it such a bright and fun colour to play with. And yes, they look absolutely edible. They remind me of those European fruit candies that have a syrupy filling. I would be so tempted to pop one of these in my mouth lol!
Thanks Ava! I agree, orange is such a happy colour and it's actually associated with good luck. Oh yes, it odes look like that European candies! OMG, that's awesome, thank you. A foodie craft on two levels, I love it.
These are so cute! And they do look like jelly candies! Those banana molds are adorable.
The banana pendant ended up so cute! I am actually going to be giving it away this Wednesday on my foodie blog, along with two other pendants to celebrate my blog's third bday.
HOLY COW! That's awesome! It's so friggin' cute! You are one talented chicka!
